Appearance: Head: Large, broad between ears.
Eyes: Medium sized, almond shaped,
moderately deep set, dark. Ears: Small and
triangular, set apart. Muzzle: Wide and well
tapered. Nose: Black and self-colored
according to coat. Bite: Scissor or level
Neck: Well muscled, slight arch. Chest: Deep
and broad, pronounced forechest. Body:
Longer than height, broad and strong,
top-line is firm and level. Legs: Strong,
straight and heavy bone. Feet: Round and
compact, well arched toes, thick pads. Tail:
Docked. Movement: Strong and driving, yet
very agile. Temperament: Protective and
aloof with strangers.
